We had such a great time! We loved all the different amenities, from the hot tub and sauna, to the game room and fire pit. Thea was a great host and providing helpful local information. The place was clean, and as described. It was a fantastic experience!

5 stars at The Bourbon Exhale! A last-minute anniversary stay that was absolute perfection. This home blends rustic charm w/ modern luxury. We’ve stayed in many high-end rentals, but the design and "extra" touches here are unmatched.
Highlights: *Serenity: Loved the hot tub and barrel sauna under string lights. Watching the sunset in the porch rockers, sipping bourbon/smoking cigars in the green shed, or dancing by the wood firepit down the hill. There’s even a pergola with a dining/lounge set and fire table for s'mores! *Fun: The speakeasy with a hidden poker room and garage game room are pure nostalgia. We loved opening the garage door to bring the sun in while playing pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, and arcade games. *Luxury: Kitchen with Caraway cookware, record player, and gorgeous chandelier. Master suite is stunning with Public Goods toiletries and Quince linens.
*Host: Thea is an incredible host and gifted us personalized mugs! Don't miss Rail Explorers—such a fun experience!

10 Stars, we had an amazing stay. One of the nicest airbnbs I've had the pleasure of staying in. Thea was an amazing host and very proactive with communicating and suggestions. The house itself was immaculately clean and so comfortable. It was perfect for my family to stay in style. We would definitely book again next time we visit.

We had such a fantastic stay and Thea was wonderful. The place was beautiful and so much fun. The location was surrounded by nature, but also close to activities throughout the region. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to others.

Thank you Thea for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. It was in a great location of where we were going. The home was very clean and the beds were amazing. Thank you for the coffee mugs and local coffee from Lexington Coffee & Tea Co. We will definitely be back.

Topaz stays was a great spot for a bachelor trip for 7 guys. Thea was amazing and responsive and alert to our needs. She even had some supplies dropped off. The place has so much to offer. If you are coming for a long weekend you will have to set aside time to take advantage of everything. Everything was super clean, I recommend you bring extra towels for the hot tub that way you have towels for the shower after.
All the games were in tact and working, nothing missing for those. There is a tv in every room, this provides a little escape even in a small space.
I recommend that if you have some taller / bigger guys you keep the number to 6 to sleep comfortably. You can make 7-8 work but its just a preference thing.
The grille worked great, we had plenty of fuel for it and logs for the fire pit as well.
All in all it was a great stay and you should definitely come and check it out. You are 30min from Bardstown and Buffalo Trace, and 1 hour to Louisville or Lexington.

Great location for the bourbon trail! Less than ten minutes to Buffalo Trace. Host provided tons of local recommendations. Rooms were large and there was plenty of space. Pacman machine was a huge hit with the kids. This location is walkable to downtown if the weather is right. Great home base to enjoy the bourbon trail.

Stayed at Thea's place for a work trip. We were not disappointed as it was quiet and relaxing to come back to at the end of the day. We also appreciated her communication throughout our trip.

This was an outstanding find for a Birthday weekend. It was so relaxing with how peaceful the country was while enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Highly recommend and will definitely look for this place next time in the area enjoying the bourbon trail.

This trip was a few friend's from work hitting the bourbon trial. My next visit will likely be with my family. Thea's home is excellent for any group or family outing. A lovely house with everything you need, thoughtful personal touches, and more.
