This was one of the best places we have stayed at. There was so much to do during your stay. There is a hot tub, sauna, nice grill, four sections to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful secluded outdoor area, campfire, and outdoor lounge area. Inside the house there are three beautiful bedrooms, and two great sized bathrooms with showers. There is a beautiful kitchen fully equipped with supplies to cook and several different places to sit in the living room. Something I really enjoyed was all the comfy pillows and blankets throughout the entire house! The blankets were so soft and warm and the pillows were so comfy. The house also offers a lot of really neat technology details throughout the house such as sound machines that can light up, fans and wall lights that allow you to adjust the light strength and fan speed, and very smart TVs. Downstairs was another experience and vibe entirely. We spent hours downstairs. The theme of the entire house was spot on and done so well throughout.

Beautiful home on the bourbon trail!
Our group had a great stay at Thea’s place. Looked exactly like the pictures and was comfy and spacious. The hot tub area was a hit!

We were there for a family funeral. The place was cheaper than renting a few hotel rooms. The place was spotless. Thea responded to us very fast. There was a window in the kitchen that would not close and she got it fixed the same day. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location for exploring the Bourbon Trail. Had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and shuffleboard. Very clean, nice, fun decor, thoughtful added touch of a dog bed for your pups. Make sure you drive the side roads and explore the beautiful Kentucky countryside.
If we are ever back that way, we will for sure be checking to see if this property is available.

My group loved our stay here! It was the perfect secluded get away for our long weekend that was still a reasonable distance to our day time activities. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

We had such a great time! We loved all the different amenities, from the hot tub and sauna, to the game room and fire pit. Thea was a great host and providing helpful local information. The place was clean, and as described. It was a fantastic experience!

5 stars at The Bourbon Exhale! A last-minute anniversary stay that was absolute perfection. This home blends rustic charm w/ modern luxury. We’ve stayed in many high-end rentals, but the design and "extra" touches here are unmatched.
Highlights: *Serenity: Loved the hot tub and barrel sauna under string lights. Watching the sunset in the porch rockers, sipping bourbon/smoking cigars in the green shed, or dancing by the wood firepit down the hill. There’s even a pergola with a dining/lounge set and fire table for s'mores! *Fun: The speakeasy with a hidden poker room and garage game room are pure nostalgia. We loved opening the garage door to bring the sun in while playing pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, and arcade games. *Luxury: Kitchen with Caraway cookware, record player, and gorgeous chandelier. Master suite is stunning with Public Goods toiletries and Quince linens.
*Host: Thea is an incredible host and gifted us personalized mugs! Don't miss Rail Explorers—such a fun experience!

10 Stars, we had an amazing stay. One of the nicest airbnbs I've had the pleasure of staying in. Thea was an amazing host and very proactive with communicating and suggestions. The house itself was immaculately clean and so comfortable. It was perfect for my family to stay in style. We would definitely book again next time we visit.

We had such a fantastic stay and Thea was wonderful. The place was beautiful and so much fun. The location was surrounded by nature, but also close to activities throughout the region. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to others.
