My wife and I visited for the bourbon trail. This house is in a great location so you can visit the distilleries. It’s a nice middle ground being 30 minutes from Frankfort, 40ish minutes from Lexington, 40 minutes to Bardstown, about an hour to Loretto, and right around an hour to Louisville. At the end of each day we were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. Everything at the house functioned as it should. Thea was an amazing host! She was very responsive anytime I messaged her with a question.

We stayed a couple of days at Thea's place while on a recent vacation. The house was just what we needed to spread out a bit and relax after several long days of travel. It was very clean, had all the amenities that we needed, and Thea's timely communication made sure everything was taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area again.

This place was beyond our expectations! It was absolutely amazing with all the amenities. We just happened to book during the big snow storm and we were sooo happy we booked this place!! There was something to do the entire time we were snowed in. When I say Thea thought of everything, absolutely nothing was missed. And if that wasn’t enough, the mattresses were like heaven. Was it worth the price?? Every single penny!! Thank you Thea for making our annual siblings trip so memorable.

This place is so beautiful, peaceful, and well-thought out. Everything from the "right here" signs under the light switches to the labels on the cupboards in the kitchen makes it so easy to get to know the space.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Thea's. The place was exactly as described and match the pictures online. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we need to make meals. The living room was cozy and we chilled there frequently watching TV and listening to the record player provided. The beds and the linens were all top quality and comfy and we appreciated having soaps and hair washing products provided. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub and the sauna in the winter month. Unfortunately, there was so much to enjoy that we didn't get a chance to use it all, but there was a beautiful fire pit outside on the property, a deck with a fire table, patio chairs, and sofa. We did enjoy the game room where there was a pool table, air hockey table, multiple old-school video games as well as many other games to play. The property was located close to multiple distilleries and we could easily drive to Lexington and Versailles to explore. I highly recommend Thea and this property to other Airbnbers.

Thea’s home was wonderful! Exactly what we need for 2 couples to get away and enjoy the bourbon trail. We loved that there was so much to do but also not cluttered. So glad we were told a head of time about the stairs. Hot tub and sauna were wonderful amenities that everyone enjoyed and we had everything we needed to make dinner every night! We will definitely come back and stay again for sure!

Our recent stay exceeded our expectations. The host communicated everything we needed to know and checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we had a wonderful stay. It was a perfect spot for a weekend of distillery tours and relaxation. The hot tub was amazing and the home was impeccable.

We always travel for the holidays and this year we decided on visiting Kentucky and some bourbon distilleries.
The house was great and lots to keep us busy (games and enjoying the outside/hot tub/sauna).
It was also conveniently located to distilleries.

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy quality family time and celebrate Christmas together. The hot tub and sauna were such a relaxing bonus, and the game room kept everyone entertained for hours. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and made our holiday feel extra special. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, cozy getaway.

Nuestra estadía fue súper excelente, nos encantó el lugar. La casa cuenta con un jacuzzi grande, donde entrábamos todos cómodamente, y un sauna que funcionaba perfectamente. La fogata estuvo espectacular y le dio un ambiente muy acogedor al lugar.
Algo que nos sorprendió gratamente es que, aunque llevamos algunas cosas, el alojamiento ya contaba con lo esencial, como café, leña, azúcar, sal y condimentos.
Los cuartos estaban muy bien, todo limpio y cómodo, y el ambiente en general es muy tranquilo y relajante. La sala de juegos es increíble, ideal para disfrutar en familia o con amigos.
En resumen, es un lugar muy cómodo, completo y especial, definitivamente nos encantó y lo recomendamos al 100%.
